About

Started at 15. Still on the floor 26 years later.

Mike started installing floors at fifteen, working summers and weekends alongside his father. Twenty-six years later, he's still the one doing the work.

As Good As It Gets LLC

A family business, run out of Bucks County.

Mike learned the trade the way trades used to be learned — on job sites, next to his father, from the age of fifteen. Twenty-six years and a few thousand floors later, he still shows up to the job himself.

"Every day I get to meet new people and conquer new obstacles, because every job is unique in its own way."

That is not a slogan. Two houses on the same street can have completely different subfloors, and knowing the difference is what separates a floor that lasts from one that fails in three years.

The company operates out of Feasterville-Trevose and takes work across southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware — from the Poconos to the shore, according to one customer who has sent us plenty of both.

How we work

What "no middleman" actually means for you.

The estimate is not a sales call

Nobody here works on commission, so nobody has a reason to talk you into a product you don't need. We measure, look at your subfloor, and tell you what the job actually requires.

The installer is the owner

Most companies hand your house to a crew you've never met, some of whom you can't hold a conversation with. Mike is on your job.

Fewer hands, lower price

Every subcontractor between you and the floor takes a margin. Removing those layers is why our pricing comes in where it does.

Small jobs welcome

One room, a hallway, a repair. Plenty of contractors won't take them. We do, and a lot of our whole-house work started as a repair call.

Honest about scope

If a repair beats a replacement, you'll hear it. If your subfloor needs work before anything goes down, you'll hear that up front rather than on day two.

One-year workmanship warranty

Every install is warrantied for a year. If a seam lifts, a board fails or a stair comes loose because of how it was put down, we come back and fix it.

We travel

Southeastern PA, New Jersey and Delaware. If you're not sure whether you're in range, just call and ask.
