Sheet Vinyl & Tile Installation
Kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and commercial spaces. Clean cuts, tight edges and no lifting corners.
Sheet vinyl remains the most water-resistant floor you can put in a room, because in most spaces it goes down in a single piece with no seams at all for water to find.
It is also the workhorse of commercial and rental spaces: it is inexpensive, it cleans easily, and when it does eventually wear out, replacing it is fast and cheap.
One-piece installs where possible
Most residential rooms are narrow enough to take a single sheet. No seams means no path for water to reach the subfloor, which is the entire point in a bathroom.
Templating tight rooms
Toilets, vanities, door casings and radiator pipes all have to be cut around exactly. We template rather than eyeball, because a gap at the toilet flange is where a bathroom floor starts to fail.
Subfloor flatness shows through
Sheet vinyl is the thinnest floor there is. Every screw head, seam and low spot in the subfloor reads through it. Underlayment and patching come first.
Tile work and repairs
Vinyl composition tile for commercial spaces, and repair or replacement of failed tile floors in kitchens and entryways.

Common questions
Sheet Vinyl & Tile — straight answers.
Can you install over my old sheet vinyl?
Sometimes, if it is well adhered, flat and single-layer. More often the right answer is to remove it or put down underlayment, because whatever texture is in the old floor will show through the new one.
Is sheet vinyl outdated?
The product people remember from the 1990s is. Current sheet goods have far better printing and wear layers. That said, for a kitchen most homeowners today are happier with vinyl plank — we will show you both.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes. Offices, rentals, salons and small retail spaces across southeastern PA, New Jersey and Delaware.
Is the installation warrantied?
Yes. Every installation we do carries a one-year workmanship warranty. If something we installed fails because of how it was installed, we come back and fix it. Manufacturer defects are covered separately by the product warranty, and we will help you file that claim.

— Brendan Worton · Google review“Mike has done several rooms in our home and each one was a stellar job. Highly recommend As Good As It Gets. Mike will be doing our plank floor in our sunroom this fall.”
